The last 50 m to the house are steep and the house has many stairs. It is not suitable for people with limited mobility, and paths can be slippery in winter.
There is no parking at the house. Please use the free public car park about 350 m away up the main road. On Thursdays about a quarter of it is closed for the market, so watch the signs. You can drop your luggage at the start of the 150 m donkey path that leads to the house.
Please keep a close eye on small children: there are stairs and drops in the house and garden. Some cupboards with our private belongings are locked.
How booking works
Choose your dates in the booking calendar and book directly. You pay 30 % when you book and the rest automatically 7 days before arrival. The confirmation comes by email right away.
Guest registration
Italian law requires us to register every guest with the police within 24 hours of arrival. Before arrival we will ask you by WhatsApp for a copy of the passport or ID card of every guest, children included. You can send them by WhatsApp or by e-mail to daniel.goller@cistiamo.com.
Deposit and condition check
We ask for a refundable security deposit to cover possible damage. Before your arrival and after your departure we film the house, without anyone present, to document its condition. If nothing is damaged, the deposit is returned in full after check-out; any damage is shown to you with the video and deducted.
Contact before arrival
To book we need your email address and phone number, ideally on WhatsApp. A few days before arrival we send you directions, the key box code and tips for the area.
Cancellation
Full refund if you cancel up to 14 days before check-in.
70 % refund if you cancel 7 to 14 days before check-in.
50 % refund if you cancel less than 7 days before check-in.
