Molina is a small village above Faggeto Lario on the eastern shore of the Como branch of the lake. Restaurants in the village are five minutes on foot. Como, Bellagio and Milan are close enough for a day trip.
The house lies within a protected nature reserve. Wild boar and mountain goats live around it, and the garden is deliberately a little wild, with cherries, mulberries, peaches, apricots, figs, grapes and herbs.
