The house takes its name from what surrounds it: the plants and animals of the reserve, and the lake below. An old stone house and a new glass pavilion face the water, joined by a stone arch. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep up to six guests.
Its materials are plain: lime plaster, larch floors, exposed rafters, steel and glass. In the garden there are fruit trees, a hammock and terraces for long evenings over the water.
We live here ourselves part of the year and rent the house while we work in Berlin. On request, a private cook prepares dinner in the house.
